Installing Selenium IDE

Selenium IDE is independent of any operating system as it’s a plugin.All you need is a Firefox installed on the operating system of your choice (It can be installed in Windows/Ubunutu/Linux etc.,)

Pre-requisites:

Firefox should have been previous installed.If you don’t have Firefox download it from here

Step 1: 

Download Selenium IDE from http://www.seleniumhq.org/download/

Step 2

Once you click on the link above you will get a message like the below one in Firefox.Click on “Allow” to install Selenium IDE on Firefox.

Step 3

Click on Install now button as shown in the below screen and after you will be asked to restart the Firefox

Step 4

Once you restart the firefox,you will be able to see a small icon next to the Address bar of the Firefox with the words “Se” like shown below

Once you click on the icon as shown above you will get a IDE pop like below
